Nestled in the picturesque village of Caerleon, Yema is the next stage for a famous and renowned restaurant location for over the last 50 years.

With a new and fantastic team who are experienced and respected in their own careers, they will deliver the highest quality level of Pan Asian and Fusion cuisine with Sushi dishes that will raise the bar and leave even the most discerning sushi diners delighted with their choices!

The open kitchen with the flames from a charcoal Robata offers life and theatre for our customers to witness our team in action as they prepare every dish from local fresh produce.

The menu will change regularly with our Chefs direction. The hugely popular “Yema Experience” menu will allow us to feed you with a mixture of Tempura, Sushi, Robata marinated meats and fish and Asian classics like Thai Green Curry and Aromatic Duck. No decisions for you to make and the “Dessert Cocktails“ offer the perfect end to relaxed, premium, dining with friends . . .

Yema is delighted to have Pedro Alves as our Executive Chef.

Pedro Alves, Executive Chef at Yema Pan Asian in Caerleon, brings world-class experience to South Wales. 

Having honed his craft at Let’s Sushi Copenhagen, Sushi Samba Reykjavik, and the iconic Cipriani in both Ibiza and Yas Island, he now channels his passion for Pan-Asian cuisine into creating dishes that balance authenticity with innovation. 

His arrival is a real coup for the region, giving local diners access to the kind of culinary flair more often found in global food capitals.
